Nivea Soft Light Moisturizer Review

Hello everyone!

So summer is officially hitting hard in India and the journey to glowy youthful skin can be a pricey one! So today i will be reviewing the best drugstore lightweight affordable moisturizer I  E-V-E-R used. Definitely this moisturizer is hands down my favorite moisturizer specially during summer season.I generally don’t like to change my skincare routine a lot but during summer my skin gets super oily and I always look for different oil control cleansers and moisturizers. So recently while I was visiting my nearest drugstores to buy certain skincare products I came across this little gem.

Nivea Soft Light Moisturizer

Description : Nivea Soft Light Moisturizer is a dermatologically-tested moisturizing cream that suits all skin types. It is enriched with Vitamin E and jojoba oil, which go deep into the skin and turn it into a fresh, soft, smooth and healthy-looking one. The light texture and fast-absorbing formula of the product make it highly effective and invigorating.

Tub packaging of Nivea Moisturizer

Packaging : The moisturizer comes in a cute little white tub which is travel friendly but if you are buying the bigger versions, it can be quite bulky. Many people prefer the pump packaging more than the tub ones but I personally don’t have any issues with that.

Price : Rs 230 for 200 ml, Rs 145 for 100 ml and Rs 35 for 25 ml.

Swatch of The Nivea Moisturizer

My experience :  When I used this the first day I did apply a lot of moisturizer only because I felt I  needed more as it is really  lightweight .And by the end of the day my skin was looking like an oily mess and I was quite disappointed with the product. But the next day I tried it again and applied only a tiny amount, and it gets instantly absorbed and gives the right amount of moisture without looking greasy. It kept my face hydrated all day long and also my makeup was intact for hours. It has a faint smell which instantly goes away after applying and does not irritates much. I like it more than my Neutrogena oil control moisturizer because it did break me out couple of times and also its not totally oil free whereas the Nivea moisturizer makes my skin so soft, totally lightweight, perfect for summers and most importantly it did not break me out even once. It has a creamy thick texture which is why only a tiny bit is enough to cover up the whole face. It can be also used as a night creme after cleansing and toning the face properly.

Nivea Soft Lightweight Moisturizer

Do I recommend? I TOTALLY recommend this if you have oily skin like me and also it is super super affordable. There is also a trial pack for this which can be used for about 3-4 times and it costs about Rs 15 , so if you are looking for an affordable summer moisturizer, this is the one. I am quite happy with this product and not planning to change it anytime soon until I come across something similar to this or better than this. I am quite sure that it will suit all skin types whether dry, oily or combination.
Highly recommended!

Nivea – havent heard of them in a long time – like Noxema, they have been around for quite awhile. Now that I am a Rep I only use Avon but guess the companies that have been around (130 years for Avon) are doing something right!
