Jaclyn Hill Ride Or Die Make-up Tag (Drugstore Version)

Hello everybody!

Today I will not be doing any product reviews or skincare stuff but instead a makeup tag which is created by my most beloved youtuber Jaclyn Hill and this tag is named as “The Ride Or Die Makeup Tag” .  I literally have been seeing this makeup tag everywhere around and people are doing their versions of it. Those of you who are new to this tag let me first tell you what it is. This tag is basically a challenge to find all the holy grail products from our makeup stash form each category. Many beauty bloggers have done this and I am super excited to do my first makeup tag/challenge and this will be a drugstore version. It was really fun to do and also quite a challenge to choose like the holiest of holy grail products form my vanity. So read down below to find out what my ride or die makeup items are.

Primer : For primer I am choosing the Colorbar Perfect Match Primer. This primer is somewhat similar to the Benefit Porefessional Primer because of the silicone texture. I have been using it for the past year and this is my absolute favorite when it comes to drugstore primers. I particularly don’t like the cream based primers as I feel it does not make my skin that smooth like the silicone ones.

Foundation : In this category I choose the Fit Me Foundation in Matte and Poreless as because I love matte foundations but with a skin like finish. This foundation remains intact for hours and hours and does not give the flat matte finish which I am not the biggest fan of.

Concealer : For concealer I choose none other than my Fit Me Concealer in the shade medium. This concealer covers up any pigmented areas and is also really good for highlighting. It has a creamy texture and a dewy finish which looks quite natural when blended well into the skin.

Eye shadow palette : For eyeshadow Palette I choose the Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow in Beyond Flawless. I love makeup revolution’s eye palettes and this one for sure is my favorite one. This palette has a mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadows which is perfect for everyday and also for glam night outs.

Bronzer and Highlighter : For bronzing and highlighting I went for my favorite highlighting palette at the moment  which is The Manizer Sisters palette . The dark shade of the palette known as the Betty Lou-Manizer  is used as a bronzing shade and the lightest shade which is the Mary Lou-Manizer is used as a highlighter for my face.I have a full review on the Manizer Sisters here.

Brows : This was the easiest category for me to choose because I don’t use a lot of brow products. I always like to use this Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper to outline my brows and also to fill them in where they are a bit sparse. My brows are quite thick and naturally dark so I don’t normally go for a pomade or any such products.

Mascara : I have a couple of favorite mascaras and was confused to choose but I went ahead and made this difficult decision and choose the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara. This has been my favourite mascara for the past 3 years .It curls my lashes and at the same time gives them volume too which is definitely something that I want my mascaras to do.

Eyelashes : For my lashes the ride or die makeup product is the Ardell Glamour 107 Black. These lashes are the most wispy and flattering lashes I ever used. Definitely this can’t be used for a daily look but I like to use them for dramatic looks occasionally.

Lipsticks : So now moving on to the last category which is lipsticks  I went in for the Revlon Lustrous Lipstick in Paradise Pink . I love this lipstick so much that if I had to choose only one lipstick for the rest of my life it would be this. These lipsticks are matte and creamy in texture.

So that is it, that completes my ride or die drugstore makeup challenge. It was a really fun challenge to do and now I tag all my fellow bloggers to take up this makeup challenge and show what their ride or die makeup products are . I am always excited to see everyone’s favorite makeup items.
