Hello Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I have a very unusual skincare post which I discovered just a month ago. I never knew that coffee can be used as a skincare product too, sure I have used many stuffs from the kitchen self like honey, rice flour, baking soda for any DIY face masks or scrubs but never used coffee until I saw Alexandra using it as a clarifying face scrubin her channel. Caffeine in the coffee is known to have good skin benefits which cleanses the skin from within and helps to maintain a healthy glow. Now not only I love coffee as my morning drink but also as a skincare product.
3 WAYS TO INCORPORATE COFFEE IN YOUR SKINCARE
AS A EXFOLIATOR
Coffee can be used as a natural exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and deep cleanse the skin. Using old coffee grounds and adding 2-3 drops of olive oil and rubbing the mixture thoroughly for few seconds will not only cleanse the face but also it will maintain the healthy youth like glow due to the presence of olive oil.
AS A FACE MASK
Using coffee as a face masks helps to brighten up the face and also prevent clogged pores as it contains antioxidants. To make a DIY coffee mask at home all you need is 2 spoons of coffee, 2 spoons of honey and 2 spoons of yogurt. Mix the ingredients together and apply it on your face and wait for about half-an-hour, then wash it off with plain water. This mask can be used twice a week for better results.
AS AN EYE MASK
Coffee can be used as an eye mask too to de-puff the eyes and also to reduce dark circles. Dipping a cotton pad into the drink and keeping it under your eyes for 10 minutes can work wonders. Applying eye creams that contain coffee can be very helpful to lighten up dark circles. This method has to be used daily in order to get to get results faster.
So, this is how I use coffee in my skincare routine. Its been only a month since I have incorporated it in my skincare routine but surely I can say that it has improved my skin texture and also have helped me in achieving a better complexion.
Thank you for taking your time to read my blog posts.
Love, Arnakshi!
I’m not a coffee drinker but I will surely consider it for skin care after reading this post! π

I have seen amazing results after using it in a face mask. It really brightens and energizes your skin. I have also heard of it being used as a scrub to get rid of cellulite!

No Normally we don’t have any international websites ship here and even if I got any website that ship internationally the shipping prices are ridiculous sometimes more than the price of actual product

That’s ridiculous! It does be the same with here sometimesπ

I don’t drink coffee, but use a ready-made coffee scrub from skinyoga. Love your DIY tips, especially the face and eyemask. I must try them. For some DIY you can check out this
